ISLAMABAD, Feb 13 (Online): Attorney General (AG) has written a letter to law minister Azam Nazir Tarar with reference to the remarks given by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJ) about Nawaz Sharif during the hearing of the case pertaining to NAB amendment law case.
AG has said in his letter the CJP has given no remarks about Nawaz Sharif during the hearing of amendment in NAB law case.
Some members of parliament commented on CJP remarks. CJP remarks were taken out of context.
It was said in the letter “I was present in the court in person. The CJP had remarked an honest prime minister was removed. CJP had not said that there was only one honest prime minister in the country. Being law minister you should keep the correct facts to the fellow senators.
