ISLAMABAD, SEP 26 (ONLINE): Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has extended bail of Bushra Bibi wife of chairman PTI till October 12 in 190 million pound scandal case.
The case came up for hearing before AC Islamabad Tuesday.
During the hearing of the case, Latif Khosa counsel for Bushra Bibi took the plea NAB gave statement that Bushra Bibi arrest is not required at present. We have objection over the word at present.
If NAB intent changes then this should be informed through the court because protective bail is basic right.
NAB prosecutor while opposing the statement of counsel said there is no law that the accused be informed before arrest.
NAB prosecutor said that Bushra Bibi has been asked to present Toshakhana jewelry She should cooperate in the investigation.
The court extended bail of Bushra Bibi till October 12.
Earlier fake receipts case came up for hearing in district and sessions court Islamabad.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra took up the case for hearing.
The counsel for PTI prayed the court to fix the time for arguments in connection with bail of Bushra Bibi.
He took the plea Bushra Bibi has left Lahore for Islamabad. The court announced interval in the hearing of case against Bushra Bibi.
Case against Bushra Bibi was registered in police station Kohsar in fake receipt matter.
