NEW YORK 1 August (Online): United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has strongly condemned Bajaur blast declaring all forms and manifestations of terrorism a threat to world peace. .
Security Council expressed its condolences to government of Pakistan and families of deceased.
It has been said in Security Council declaration that members of Security Council pray for speedy recovery of those injured in blast.
The Security Council has urged all concerned countries to take decisive action against the perpetrators of the Bajaur incident and demanded all the characters financiers and facilitators involved in the incident should be brought to justice as soon as possible.
All concerned countries should cooperate with the Government of Pakistan in bringing the perpetrators to justice in accordance with their obligations under international law and Security Council resolutions.
The UN Security Council further said that any act of terrorism is criminal, unjustified and condemnable.
