London SEPTEMBER 14 (Online): Sara Sharif’s father, stepmother and uncle who were wanted in her murder case were arrested on arrival in Britain.
According to British media, 3 people were arrested at Gatwick Airport after arriving in Britain from Pakistan.
41 years old Irfan Sharif, the father of 10-year-old Sara Sharif, his wife 29 years old Benish Batool and 28 years old Faisal Malik , Irfan’s brother were arrested at 7:45 PM local time in UK.
Surrey Police said in a statement that all 3 detainees are being investigated.
Sarah’s mother has been briefed on the latest progress. Sara’s father, step-mother and uncle lived in Woking before Sara’s death but they had come to Pakistan a day before police found Sara’s body.
Sarah’s body was found in her home in Woking area on August 10 and her post-mortem report found multiple injuries on her body.
