Pakistan is strategic partner of US: Ned Price

WASHINGTON, FEB 03 (ONLINE): Spokesperson of United States Department of State Ned Price has said Pakistan is strategic partner of US and we have important relations with Pakistan

“We value our relations with Pakistan in diverse sectors”, he said this in a press briefing here.

“We are deterimined to strengthen defence of Saudi Arabia and UAE. We are working for security cooperation, defence trade and training with both of the counries, he added.
The only way to address Yemen coflict is diplomatic solution. We are concerned over advancemnet in nuclear program of Iran, he remakred.

To a quesiton about Turksh presidnet visit to Ukarine he said Turkey is key NATO ally. We support the efforts from NATO ally for expressing solidarity with Ukarine.

Citing to Afghanistan he said we are supporting Afghan people through several different ways. We are helping in catering to humantarian needs of people of Afghanistan. We are working actively with several countries of the region with refere nce to Afghanistan.

He held that need is there that Taliban should respect fundamental rights of Afghan people and also need is there that Taliban should uphold their promises. They should provide safe passage to those Afghan people who want to leave the country. They should also ensure freedom of movement to them.
