PARIS Oct 17 (Online): Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has become the second richest person in the world after a year.
According to Bloomberg report, Jeff Bezos took this honor from France’s Bernard Arnault.
Bernard Arnault, the owner of luxury goods maker LVMH, has seen a steady decline in his wealth since May this year.
In October 2022, Bernard Arnault surpassed Jeff Bezos to become the second richest person in the world.
After earning 55 billion dollars in 5 months, Elon Musk again became the richest person in the world.
Similarly, in December 2022, Bernard Arnault overtook Elon Musk to become the richest person in the world by the end of May 2023.
Between October 11 and 16, 2023, Bernard Arnault’s wealth decreased by $6.8 billion and he currently owns $155.1 billion.
In comparison, Jeff Bezos’ assets are worth $156.3 billion.
According to the report, Jeff Bezos’ assets increased by 49.3 billion dollars during this year, while Bernard Arnault’s wealth continued to decline, making him the second richest person in the world again.
