Iraq announces to restore suspended visas of Pakistani pilgrims travelling to Karbala

ISLAMABAD, SEP 12 (ONLINE): Iraq has announced to restore the suspended visas of Pakistani Zaireen travelling to Karbala for Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA).

In an important statement issued by Iraqi embassy in Islamabad Monday it was said availability of air reservation facility for Pakistani pilgrims intending to participate in Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA).has been ensured;.
Pakistani Zaireen have been allowed to enter into Iraq from the Iranian border.
Pakistani Zaireen have been appealed to visit Iraqi Airways office in Blue Area Islamabad to get necessary travelling details.

It has been further said by Iraq embassy that telephonic call made by Interior minister Rana Sana Ullah on September 10 to his Iraqi counterpart in connection with provision of facilities and safe and secure travelling played a key role

Iraq embassy pays tribute to state minister for foreign affairs Hina Rabbani Khar and interior minister Rana Sana Ullah in their extra ordinary efforts for the process of restoration of suspended visas, the announcement added.
