WASHINGTON Nov 19 (Online): United States (US) President Joe Biden has said that Gaza and the West Bank should finally be united under the new Palestinian Authority.
In an article published in the American newspaper, President Biden said that moving towards a two-state solution, Gaza and the West Bank should be united under a renewed Palestinian Authority.
It should be noted that the Israeli Prime Minister has said that the Palestinian Authority is not capable of taking responsibility for Gaza in its current state.
On the other hand, the head of the UN aid agency, Martin Griffiths, has reiterated the request for a ceasefire to deliver aid to the people affected by the bloody fighting between Israel and Hamas.
