Biden administration not interfering in Pakistani politics: US senator

WASHINGTON Sep 10 (Online): Democratic Party Senator Chris Van Halen said that the Biden administration is not interfering in Pakistani politics.
The US was instrumental in getting the IMF to come forward with emergency economic relief in the case of Pakistan.

According to the details, the DMV chapter of the Pakistan Doctors’ Organization was held in Washington in which US Senator Chris Van Halen participated as the chief guest.

Talking to the Pakistani media on this occasion, he said that he has been in contact with the Biden administration for a long time. I can say with full of my believe that US has not made any attempt to engineer anything in Pakistan’s politics.

United States, other democracies and people of Pakistan are interested in ensuring that elections are free and fair.

The Democratic Party senator said that it is up to the people of Pakistan to decide their leaders, to ensure that the will of the people of Pakistan is heard and reflected, elections must be absolutely free and fair.

Senator Chris Van Halen further added that a good relationship with Pakistan is important for stability and security around the world, that is why the Biden administration wants to have a very strong bilateral relationship with Pakistan, to see the help of the United States after the floods in Pakistan. US played a very important role in ensuring that the IMF came forward with its emergency economic relief.
