BEIJING, July 10 (APP): The two-day 10th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations opened in Nishan, Qufu city, China’s Shandong province on Wednesday.

Taking “Traditional Culture and Modern Civilization” as its main theme, the forum aims to “implement the global civilization initiative, promote the common values of all mankind, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.”
The opening session was addressed by local and foreign dignitaries including Lin Wu, Secretary of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Minister of Culture and Tourism, Fukuda Yasuo, former prime minister of Japan and chairman of International Confucian Association and others.
