Next 24 hours: Heavy rain expected in different parts of Pakistan

Islamabad (PNI) Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted that the moist currents from Arabian sea are likely to penetrate upper/central parts of the country including Islamabad from June 18. A Shallow westerly wave is also likely to approach western parts of the country on June 18.

According to the Met Office, a very hot and dry weather in most parts of the province including Lahore from June 16 to June 18.

Under the influence of this weather system, heavy rain with wind is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar and Mianwali from June 18 (evening/night) to June 22 with occasional gaps.
