QUETTA, Jan 22 (APP): Balochistan’s respective areas received rains with snowfalls which turned weather cold.
According to Met office, rain receiving was recorded in some areas including 30 mm in Kalat, 15 mm in Zhob, 6 mm in Barkhan, 5 mm in Chaman, 5 mm in Muslim Bagh, 3 mm in Pishin, 3 mm in Ziarat, 2.5 mm in Loralai and 1 mm in Mastung despite snowfalls were also reported in 01 inche in Kalat and 01 inch in Quetta on Saturday.
The Met office has forecast Rain-wind with snowfall over the hills in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Duki, Barkhan, Pishin, Quetta, Qilla Abdullah, Mastung and Kohlu districts during nest 24 hours. While cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the province.
The Met office also advised all concerned authorities to remain alert and take precautionary measures during the forecast period.
According to the Met office, the minimum temperature in Quetta was recorded at – 2.5 degrees centigrade and – 9.1 degrees centigrade in Ziarat on Friday. While, rain received in Chaman and Muslim Bagh.
