Uzbekistan, South Korea establish cooperation in robotics

TASHKENT, Dec 10 (UzA/APP): The Uzbekistan–Korea roundtable was held in the Republic of Korea with the participation of Uzbekistan’s government delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojayev.

During the meeting, participants discussed ways to expand economic cooperation, accelerate the implementation of investment projects, and advance joint initiatives in high technology and industrial development.

Following the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Uzeltechsanoat Association and Robotis, a leading South Korean robotics company.

The agreement includes plans to establish production facilities and a technological base in Uzbekistan for humanoid robot manufacturing, as well as to create a system for training qualified personnel to support the country’s growing robotics and technology sector.
