ISLAMABAD, April 05 (Online): All mobile phone manufacturer companies have been closed in Pakistan.
Mostly companies have laid off employees.
The production activities of mostly all 30 mobile phone companies including 3 foreign companies have been closed completely.
As per media report, a devastating economic crisis of the country has also devoured the mobile phone industry.
About 30 mobile phone assembling units in the country, including 3 units of foreign brands manufacturing mobile phones in the country, have now been shut.
According to Mobile manufacturers, they have run out of raw material due to import restrictions.
The future of mostly 20 employees is at risk.
According to media reports, mostly companies have laid off their employees after paying half of April salaries in advance.
