Visa issues created doubt for Afghanistan’s participation in U19 World Cup

Islamabad, Jan 10 (Online): The international cricketing event starts in West Indies on January 14th with 16 teams.

ICC sources confirmed that Afghan players have still not arrived at the venue due to delay in obtaining the visas.

Cricket’s global body has been working together with all the relevant stake holders and Afghan Cricket Board to sort out the problem and allow the team to travel.

Warm up matches are rescheduled to facilitate every participating team to continue their preparations.
