Real Madrid head coach Zidane tests positive for virus

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has contracted the novel coronavirus, the Spanish football club announced on Friday.

“Real Madrid C. F. report that our coach Zinedine Zidane has tested positive for COVID-19,” the club said in a statement.

The 48-year-old is the only manager to ever win the UEFA Champions League three times in a row, all with Los Galacticos.

Zidane lifted two UEFA Super Cup titles and two La Liga trophies.

With Real Madrid, he made 237 appearances with 157 wins, 34 defeats, and 46 draws.
