ISLAMABAD – July 05 (ONLINE) Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja revealed Monday that he uses a bulletproof vehicle because of a security threat.
According to details, Raja had appeared before National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Inter provincial coordination on Monday, where he revealed that he is “not a big financial burden” on the PCB as the former national team captain, among other things, also takes care of his medical expenses.
Several media reports quoted Ramiz as explaining before the committee about the favors he utilizes being the chairman of board. Ramiz, according to these reports, told committee that he only utilised the daily allowances, hotel and travel expenses allowed to the chairman under service rules.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the first time that current PCB Chairman has appeared before any National Assembly committee.
