BENGALURU Oct 21 (Online): Pakistan will play its fifth match in the ICC Cricket World Cup on Monday, October 23 against Afghanistan.
This match is very important for the green shirts after two consecutive defeats; Pakistan won 2 out of 4 matches and lost two matches.
The national team defeated the Netherlands by 81 runs in the first match and Sri Lanka in the second match by 6 wickets, but in the third match they lost to traditional rivals India by 7 wickets and in the fourth match to Australia by 62 runs.
The Pakistani team will be led by legendary batsman Babar Azam, other prominent players include Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Imamul Haq and Hasan Ali.
The Afghanistan team has defeated the defending champion England in an upset.
Afghanistan is led by Hashmatullah Shahidi and they have the services of talented players like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Rehmanullah Garbaz, Mujeebur Rehman.
