LAHORE Aug 13 (Online): Afghan cricket team fast bowler Usman Shinwari admitted Pakistani national captain Babar Azam as his favorite player in Test and ODI formats, however, he said that he does not feel much pressure while bowling to him in T20 cricket.
In an interview, Usman Shinwari said that my favorite player is Babar Azam, no doubt about it. However, I think Babar is very dangerous in ODIs and Tests, in T20 cricket, I wouldn’t feel too much pressure against him because he relies on traditional shots.
He said as a bowler you don’t expect Babar will sweep a good length delivery or play an unorthodox shot for a six. Hence, I don’t feel threatened by his bowling in T20s. But in Tests and ODIs, he remains my favorite batsman.
