Kohli to be excluded from India’s ‘full strength’ squad against WI

NEW DELHI, India – July 07 (ONLINE) India’s former captain Virat Kohli will not be a part of India’s ‘full strength squad’ in coming T20I series against the West Indies, cricket website revealed Thursday.

Cricbuzz reported Thursday that all the senior players of team Indian will be included in the squad, with exception of Kohli, who has been out of his traditional batting form for quite a long time now.

“The squad could even have a surprise recall for R Ashwin, who has not featured in an international white ball match for over seven months,” Cricbuzz reported.

“The selection committee will make sure all T20I regulars are taking part in the series, two of which are in the US. Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya will be included in the squad expected to be announced after the third and final T20I against England on July 10,” the report added.
