ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 :Pakistan’s squash veteran, Group Captain (retd) Irfan Asghar, claimed victory at the 6th Asian Master Squash Championship 2024, held in Macau, China.
According to information made available here by Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), dominating the final, Irfan outplayed his opponent, Korean Ryun Hoe Koo, with an impressive 3-0 win, securing the title for Pakistan. The final scores stood at 11-6, 11-4 and 14-12.
This marks Irfan’s second triumph in the Asian Master Squash Championship, having previously won the title in 2010. His victory reinforces his status as a leading figure in Pakistan’s squash scene. Currently serving as the Director Academies of the PSF, he continues to inspire the next generation of players.
