PESHAWAR Nov 19 (Online): All Pakistan Inter University Women Squash Championship organized by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University has entered the final stages.
The team event semi-finals of the championship were played yesterday in which Iqra University and Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad won.
Yesterday squash legend Qamarzaman, Deputy Director Sports Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University and Organizing Secretary Maria Sameen were present.
Zahra Abdullah of Iqra University and Maira Hussain of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan presented the best game.
In the match, Zahra Abdullah won 12-10, 11-03 and 11-09.
In the second match, there was a good match between Hira Aqeel of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and Aima of Iqra University in which Hraa Aqeel won by 11-4, 11-2 and 11-3.
In the third match, the best match took place between Umm Kulsoom of Iqra University and Sapna Akbar of Abdul Wali Khan University, in which Umm Kulsoom of Iqra won by 11-05 11-01 11-02.
In the second semi-final, a match was played between Munahil Aqeel of Quaid-e-Azam University and Iqra Amin of Lahore CW, in which Munahil Aqeel of Quaid-e-Azam University won by 11-1, 11-1 and 11.
A good match was played between Quaid-e-Azam University and Tania Younis of LCW in which Nimra Aqeel of Quaid-e-Azam University won by 11-00, 11-02 11-02.
