According to media reports, the French Interior Minister has accused the Saudi club Al-Ithad footballer Karim Benzema of belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood, while the leader of an extremist party has stripped the footballer of “French citizenship” and “Ballon d’Or” for supporting Palestine. “The award has been demanded to be withdrawn.

Yesterday, Karim Benzema issued a statement on the social networking site Twitter (X) in favor of the oppressed Palestinians against the Israeli aggression and wrote that “Our prayers are for the local people of Gaza who are once again being subjected to unjust bombing.” from which even children and women are not safe”.

Earlier, recently Karim Benzema was attacked by the leader of the extremist National Rally Party for wearing traditional clothes on the occasion of the Saudi National Day, accusing him of “turning to Saudi Arabia because he wanted an Islamist life style”.

During the TV show, other politicians also severely criticized and said that “those who want an Islamist way of life should go to other countries, maybe France would be better”.
