ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP):Egyptian duo Moustafa El Sirty and Salma El Tayab captured men and women titles respectively of the Chief of the Air Staff-Serena Hotel International Squash Tournament at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad on Friday.
World No 67 Moustafa El Sirty overcame World No 59 Auguste Dussourd of France in grueling four-set final battle 9-11, 11-7, 11-6, 12-10.
In the women final, World No 81 Salma El Tayab outsmarted World No 69 Marie Stephan of France 11-6, 12-10, 11-4.
The event was organized by Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) in collaboration with Pakistan Air Force, Serena Hotels and Combaxx Sports.
Apart from Pakistan, a group of 21 foreign players from nine countries including Czech Republic, Egypt, England, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Serbia, Spain and Switzerland featured in the event.
