Dr Fehmida honours World Memory C’ship winning Pak team

LAHORE-Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza has said that she wants to see her young generation on par with developed countries through super-learning programs and mind games. 

PSB spokesman M Azam Dar told The Nation on Friday that during a meeting with the winning Pakistani team and their coach Sania Alam, Dr Fehmida said assured them of Pakistan Sports Board’s (PSB) all-out support saying the PSB will take all possible steps to promote mind games in the country. IPC Ministry Secretary Mohsin Mushtaq Joint Secretary Imran Mahmood were also present on the occasion. 

Congratulating the World Memory Championship winning Pakistan women team, the IPC Minister also presented certificates and shields to the winning women players. She vowed that these players can set a high standard of mental development through mind games at the national level.   Coach Sania Alam said that in this World Championship, which has been going on for 29 years.

“Pakistan team broke all previous records and our talented girls won 13 medals in Mind Mapping, Memory Development and Speed Reading to make Pakistan the world champion. We are thankful to Allah Almighty for this.” It should be noted that this World Championship was attended by more than 300 athletes from 16 countries.
