Islamabad SEPTEMBER 28 (Online): Pakistan team arrived in India for ICC World Cup 2023 on Wednesday
Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan took a subtle dig at Pakistan fans after the Men in Green touched down in Hyderabad on Wednesday for the ICC World Cup 2023.
Pakistan team received a warm welcome at the airport and the hotel which was lauded by fans from both sides of the border.
Meanwhile, Pathan stated that ìpeople are surprised by our hospitalityî which led many Pakistan fans to think that he was taking a subtle dig at them.

It must be noted that the Pakistan team took part in a training session at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad, on Thursday.
This was Pakistanís first training session after arriving on Indian shores for the ICC World Cup 2023.
Majority of the Pakistan players took part in the session, which included captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Haris Rauf and Hasan Ali.
The Pakistan men’s cricket team landed in Hyderabad, India, on Wednesday from Dubai to participate in the mega event.
On Monday, after a long delay, India finally issued visas to the Pakistan team ending uncertainty surrounding Pakistan’s participation in the tournament.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) complaining about a visa delay which, it said, had disrupted the team’s preparation for the mega event across the border.
Pakistan will play two warm-up matches before beginning their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6.
Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are set to clash in a mouth-watering October 14 contest in Ahmedabad.

The day matches which will start at 10:00am Pakistan Standard Time (PST) while all other matches will be day-night fixtures starting at 01:30pm (PST).
If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals, they will play in Kolkata.
If India qualifies for the semi-finals, they will play in Mumbai unless playing against Pakistan, in which case they will play in Kolkata.
