LAHORE Oct 29 (Online): Important progress has been made in the matter of central contracts of national cricket team players.
According to the media report, the sources said that the national cricketers received the central contract through email from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The players are likely to sign central contracts soon.
Remember that PCB announced the new central contract before the World Cup, according to sources, the players of the national team have not been paid for 5 months.
The cricketers’ central contracts expired on June 30, after which the contracts were extended by one month.
It should be noted that the issue of central contract of national cricketers was pending for a few months.
The national cricketers had objections to several clauses in the contract, all reservations of the cricketers have been removed.
Earlier, the PCB had given a big hike in the players’ salaries in the new central contract.
Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Faridi are in the A category will be given 60 lakh 30 thousand rupees per month.
B category will get 41 lakh 47 thousand 500 rupees per month.
C category will be given 17 lakh 65 thousand rupees per month.
D category will get 11 lakh 32 thousand 500 rupees per month.
