CHENNAI Oct 27 (Online): National team’s wicketkeeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan has become the highest run-scoring Pakistani wicketkeeper batsman in the mega event.
Mohammad Rizwan is playing his first World Cup and has scored 333 runs in six innings at an average of 66.60 including a century and a half-century.
Earlier, former captain Sarfraz Ahmed was the most successful Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman with 303 runs at an average of 43.29 in 11 World Cup innings, Moeen Khan was third with 286 runs at an average of 28.60 in 14 World Cup innings and Kamran Akmal at an average of 27.66. He is ranked fourth by scoring 249 runs.
