DUBAI Oct 11 (Online): Indian cricketer Shibman Gill won the ICC Player of the Month award.
A few days ago, the International Cricket Council announced the nominations of the Man and Woman Player of the Month for the month of September.
No Pakistan player was included in the nominations announced by the ICC while 2 cricketers from India were nominated.
India’s Shibman Gul and Mohammad Siraj were nominated as the Player of the Month by the ICC.
However, now Indian batsman Shibman Gill has been declared as the player of the month based on his performance in September, on the other hand Chimari Athapatthu of Sri Lanka has been declared as the women’s player of the month.
