HARARE Sep 03 (Online): Former captain of the Zimbabwe cricket team Heath Streak died at the age of 49.
According to foreign media, the death of Zimbabwe’s former captain Heath Streak was confirmed by his wife Nadine Strick on the social networking site Facebook.
Streak’s wife took to her account to share the sad news with fans, writing that this morning, Sunday, September 3, 2023, the greatest love of my life and the father of my beautiful children has passed away.
Born in Bulawayo, Heath Streak was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Heath Streak represented Zimbabwe in 65 Tests and 189 ODIs. All-rounder Heath Streak scored 1990 runs in Test format and 2943 runs in ODIs.
