LAHORE Sep 24 (Online): National fast bowler Naseem Shah, who was injured in the match against India in the Asia Cup, is likely to undergo shoulder surgery.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Naseem Shah has been asked to undergo shoulder surgery after medical examination and consultation with qualified experts.
It is expected that the fast bowler will take four months to fully recover. Earlier, the chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team, Inzamam-ul-Haq, while announcing the squad for the World Cup, also spoke about Naseem Shah’s health.
According to Inzamam-ul-Haq, fast bowler Hasan Ali has been included in the World Cup squad instead of Naseem.
