Lahore, September 11 (Online): A special meeting of the PCB Board of Governors will be held on Monday to elect new Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
According to sources, the election of the 36th PCB chairman will be held at the National High Performance Center in Lahore.
PCB Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Sheikh Azmat Saeed will preside over the special session.
Other members of the governing board are Asim Wajid Jawad, Alia Zafar, Asad Ali Khan, Arif Saeed, Javed Qureshi, Rameez Raja and Wasim Khan will attend the special meeting.
After the meeting, the newly elected Chairman of the PCB will hold a press conference at 2pm.
For the health and safety of all persons, only reporters will be allowed to attend the conference under PCB Covid-19 Protocols
Those people will also have to bring their own Covid vaccination certificate.
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the appointment of former cricketer Rameez Raja as the Patron-in-Chief of the PCB.
