ISLAMABAD Oct 10 (Online): Former captain of the national football team and former member of the Pakistan Football Federation Colonel Retired Muhammad Nauman has said that it is a welcome thing for the Cambodian football team to come and play an international match in Pakistan and this will help Pakistan.
There will be a revival of international football, he added.
He expressed these views while talking to the media along with former international footballer Jamshed Anwar Rana.
Nouman said that there is immense football talent in the country and there is a need to provide resources and facilities to develop this talent.
In response to a question, Colonel Retired Muhammad Nauman said that the football match between the teams of Pakistan and Cambodia will be played in Islamabad on October 17, in which the Pakistani players should take advantage of the home ground.
International footballer Jamshed Anwar Rana said that the entry for the fans in the match between Pakistan and Cambodia should be free so that more fans can enjoy the football match.
He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country in terms of sports and Pakistani people love foreign athletes immensely.
Colonel Mohammad Nauman said that sports teach peace, brotherhood and brotherhood. However, sports are very important for building a healthy society and we have to develop more sports fields so that the young generation can get rid of social evils and also provide them with a recreational environment.
