Arthur dominant contestant to coach Pakistan cricket team

ISLAMABAD / LAHORE – January 30 (ONLINE) Former Pakistan Head Coach is set to return to his job as media reports Monday claimed PCB management committee is expected to finalize his contract within the next two weeks.

However, according to media reports, Arthur will fulfill his coaching duties primarily online until the 2023 ICC World Cup in India due to the ongoing pandemic.

Arthur will be on-site for limited assignments and will join the team in India for the World Cup. Arthur continues to work as the full-time coach for Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Khan Afridi said “The concept of online coaching by a foreign coach for the national team is beyond comprehension; every era has the personal likes and dislikes of the captain to sustain Pakistan cricket.”
