Peshawar, September 28 (Online): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association (KPCA) is arranging All Pakistan Cycle Race in Orakzai tribal district to mark the World Tourism Day today.
Giving details, KPCTA Project Director Merged Districts, Ishtiaq Khan said that over 45 cyclists would participate in the spectacular eventin Orakzaito introduce the tribal district as a tourism attraction.
He said that the event was aimed at promoting tourism, sports and culture and attracting the tourists to the scenic places in merged districts as well.
The official said that tourism, sports and other healthy activities would be launched the merged districts soon.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association president Nisar Ahmad said that All Pakistan Tourism Day Cycle Race would kick off from Bab-e-Orakzai.
He said that cyclists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab would participate in the event.
Chief judgeJaved Khan would perform as referee on the occasion.
