AJGL Monthly Match 2026 to be held in Lahore on July 21

ISLAMABAD (APP):The Ace Junior Golf League (AJGL) will organise its Monthly Match 2026 at the Lahore Garrison Greens Golf Club on July 21, providing a competitive platform for young golfers from across the country.According to the organisers, the event is open to both AJGL members and non-members from any city. Entries will be accepted until July 20.

Junior’s from all backgrounds are welcomed on this unique platform. The championship will feature four age-based categories: Birdie (6-10 years), Eagle (10-14 years), Albatross (14-18 years), and Elite (18-21 years). The Birdie category will be played over nine holes with a yardage of 2,000-3,000 yards, while the Eagle and Albatross categories will compete over 18 holes with yardages of 4,500-5,000 and 5,500-6,000 yards, respectively. The Elite category will also be contested over 18 holes on a course exceeding 6,000+ yards. The league aims to strictly follow the international standards of the game.

In the same way prizes are awarded only to the gross score, winners. Four best gross prizes will be awarded in each category, with the final number of prizes depending on participation.

The competition will be conducted under the Rules of Golf as well as local rules formulated by the host club and championship committee. Distance-measuring devices will be permitted, provided they have no additional features. AJGL Organisers said the league aims to promote junior golf through skill development, golf psychology, mental strength and regular competitive opportunities for emerging players.
