AGP, Netsol record wins in Memorial Cricket

LAHORE    –   Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP), Netsol, Zameen.com and AMT won the round matches of Professor Mukhtar Ahmed Butt Memorial Corporate League played here at two different venues.

In the first match at Ittefaq Cricket Ground, AGP defeated DPS by 5 wickets. Batting first, DPS scored 166-6 with Muhammad Siddique hitting unbeaten 49 while Irshad Hussain took two wickets. AGP chased the target losing 5 wickets with Muhammad Jawad smashing 60 and Muneeb Butt getting two wickets. 

In the second match, Zameen.com defeated Zaitoon Group by 7 wickets. Zaitoon Group were bowled out for 134 in their first innings with Ali Pervez scoring 23 while Nadeem Akmal claiming 3 wickets. Zameen.com replied strongly and achieved the target for the loss of 3 wickets. Captain Zameen.com Zohaib Nabi hammered convincing 74 and was named player of the match.  In the first match at Race Course Cricket Ground, Netsol thrashed Jazz by 8 wickets. Playing first, Jazz posted 144-6 on the board in the stipulated overs. Abdul Rehman made 35 while Muhammad Faisal bagged three wickets. Netsol, in reply, chased the target losing 2 wickets. Bilal Aslam slammed unbeaten 68 to earn man of the match award.

In the second match, AMT defeated Jaffer Brothers by 17 runs. AMT, batting first, piled a decent total of 195-8. Waqas-ud-Din played a brilliant knock of 48 while Imran Zulfiqar grabbed three wickets. In reply, Jaffar Brothers could score 178. Hussain Riaz made 53. Ameer Hamza took two wickets. Waqas-ud-Din was named man of the match.
