Lahore Aug 15 (Online): Pakistan’s all-rounder, Agha Salman, known for his brisk playing style, has proven himself recently in ODI and Test cricket, where he successfully brought up centuries and took crucial wickets.
During a media talk in Lahore on Tuesday, the 29-year-old revealed his preferred batting partner in the 50-over-format, Muhammad Rizwan – asserting that both share the same positive pattern of batting.
“Most of my partnerships have been with Rizwan in ODIs till now. I enjoy playing with him, and I think we both share the same pattern or style of play. Both of us try to play positive cricket. As of yet, he is my favorite partner so far,” Salman said.
Salman further reinstated that he wouldn’t be taking a surplus pressure of the India and Pakistan World Cup match but rather will try to focus on delivering above-par performance.
“I am excited, but I do think that you have to deliver your finest performance irrespective of whoever the opponent is. I will try to keep things as simple as possible. I wouldn’t prefer taking any extra pressure,
whether it is against India or not,” he further added.
It is worth noting that Salman is part of the Asia Cup, which is jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, starting from August 30.
