ISLAMABAD, Marc h 16 (Online): 4 patients are reported to have succumbed to Covid-19 and 493 tested positive during the last 24 hours in the country.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) fresh data disclosed 34698 tests were conducted of which 493 returned positive in the past 24 hours taking the tally of positive cases to 1520120.
The positivity ratio stands at 1.42 percent.
As per province wise details 572,555 coronavirus cases have been reported in Sindh, 504,045 in Punjab, 218,357 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 134,878 in Islamabad, 43,190 in Azad Kashmir, 35,447 in Balochistan and 11,648 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far. .
With 4 casualties during the last 24 hours the tally of fatalities has surged to 30317 so far in the country.
13,540 patients have died due to the epidemic in Punjab, 8,091 in Sindh, 6,306 in KP, 1,021 in Islamabad, 790 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan and 191 in GB so far.
The number of total administered doses has reached to 219,368,557 with 678,788 in the last 24 hours.
1,472,291 patients have recovered in the country while 567 patients are said to be in critical condition.
