ISLAMABAD, March 01 (Online): 18 patients lost lives while 861 tested positive due to corona virus during last 24 hours in the country.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) latest statistics revealed , 37566 corona virus tests were conducted during the last 24 hours of which 861 returned positive taking the total positive cases to 1510221.
Positivity ratio stands at 2.29 percent.
As per province wise details 568,277 coronavirus cases have been reported in Sindh, 501,544 in Punjab, 216,174 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 134,404 in Islamabad, 42,978 in Azad Kashmir, 35,345 in Balochistan and 11,499 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far.
With 18 deaths during the last 24 hours the tally of fatalities due to COVID-19 has soared to 30196.
The NCOC latest statistics disclosed that 13,500 individuals have succumbed to COVID-19 in Punjab, 8,070 in Sindh, 6,260 in KP, 1,013 in Islamabad, 788 in Azad Kashmir, 375 in Balochistan and 190 in GB so far.
209,438,557 doses with 922,218 in the last 24 hours have been administered in the country.
1,442,938 patients have recovered in the country whereas 988 patients are reported to be in critical condition due to corona virus.’
