12 succumbed to COVID-19, 6540 tested positive in last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD, Jan 22 (Online): 12 people lost lives and 6540 tested positive due to corona virus in the last 24 hours in the country.

As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) latest statistics 58902 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours of which 6,540 returned positive taking the tally of positive cases to 1,360,019.
According to province wise details 520,415 coronavirus cases have been reported in Sindh, 460,335 in Punjab 183,865 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 115,939 in Islamabad, 35,130 in Azad Kashmir 33,855 in Balochistan and 10,480 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far.

With 12 deaths during the last 24 hours, tally of fatalities has soared to 29077.

According to NCOC 13,100 people have succumbed to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,730 in Sindh 5,969 in KP, 975 in Islamabad, 749 in Azad Kashmir, 367 in Balochistan, and 187 in GB so far.

170,711,868 doses have been administered so far in the country.
1,267,598 patients have recovered in the country while 1,055 patients are stated to be in critical condition.
