Since the start of his show on Geo, people have pointed out that looks like a copy of Indian comedian Kapil Sharma’s show. The style of hosting and the segments match a lot with Kapil’s and during an interview with Aik Din Geo Kay Saath, Tabish has finally clarified if they copied or got inspired by The Kapil Sharma Show.

Tabish said that his show is actually built on the format of Choraha which used to be aired on Geo News back in the day and Hassan Nisar used to host it. He further added that Kapil’s show is actually a copy of Choraha and that is why his show looks similar to Kapil’s. Tabish said that people in India work more on marketing which makes even other people’s ideas look like theirs.

Tabish also appreciated everyone’s work and said that he only competes with himself and wants to polish his craft more.
