SRK’s Pathan screened in Karachi despite ban

KARACHI – February 1 (ONLINE) Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan’s newly released Pathan has been screened in Karachi cinemas despite a ban, local media reported Wednesday.

Pathan is a massive success worldwide, as the film featuring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles has earned more than 500 crores during its starting days of screening and it is still doing record breaking business in India.

However, in Pakistan, there has been a ban on Indian movies due to which Shahrukh Khan’s Pakistani fans could not see the movie.

According to the Dawn News, the movie is now being illegally screened in DHA, Karachi, Pakistan, despite the ban. Well, in India, no Pakistani movie is allowed to be screened and likewise in Pakistan, no Indian movie is allowed to be screened but still Pathaan is being screened illegally in DHA, Karachi, Pakistan.

The media house reported the advertisements of Pathan movie were publicly posted on the two very prominent Facebook pages for the sale of tickets worth Rs900 and it is being screened too.
