ISLAMABAD DEC 06 (ONLINE): Neeli is a famous Pakistani former film star who was admired for her stunning personality and excellent acting skills. Her notable films were Akhri Jang, Maula Baksh, Mushkil, Chief Saab, Allah Daad, Insaniat key Dushman , Ameer Khan, International Gorilay, Sakhi Badshah and others. The actor left media industry at the peak of her career. She is the only former Pakistani actor who didn’t appear on the camera after leaving the industry. Many of her fans, friends and admirers are still curious about her whereabouts.
Recently, the brilliant writer Nasir Adeeb revealed why Neeli left the media industry and how she is spending her life. Talking about her, Nasir Adeeb said, “Neeli faced a heart break and was single when a mafia head contacted her and proposed to her but Neeli refused his proposals, after rejection, that man threatened her; he also warned her through his power. The Mushkil actor then wrapped up her ongoing shootings, and she also disappeared. She used unknown numbers for the contact purpose. She also announced that she will soon leave the media industry”.
Nasir Adeeb further added, “After wrapping up all her films, she got a proposal from a man who was quite loyal to him. He also accepted her along with all the threats and dangers. He also lived in Pakistan with Neeli for a few years. She has two kids, and she never looked back. She only had contact with Aziz Memon, who took me to Johar Town. We met her, and she refused to work in the industry. Now, no one knows where she is, but she’s happy in her married life”. Talking about Neeli’s debut in the film industry, Nasir Adeeb said that he went to his friend Younis Malik to select two new faces for his film and Neeli’s intelligence, educational background and expressions inspired him a lot and he signed her up for his movie after which Neeli never looked back.
