NEW DELHI, FEB 01 (ONLINE): Triptii Dimri has been locked for a Netflix series on Parveen Babi and the production is about to kickstart soon.

There’s an exciting project developing on the OTT front and we’re most curious to see how it turns out. Our curiosity is piqued by the fact that this OTT series is going to be an autobiographical account of the late actress Parveen Babi. Parveen had a dramatic career and life, one that ended in grave tragedy. Triptii Dimri has been locked for this Netflix series and the production is about to kickstart soon.

Our source revealed, “Triptii’s dates have been locked. Director Shonali Bose and her team are working fast to start the shoot on this ambitious project.” That’s a great update to this project that has been in the news for a while now. There’s been a lot of speculation around the lead actress and when this project would see fruition. But it seems things are on track right now.

Parveen Babi was closely associated with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actor Kabir Bedi. It will also be interesting to see if these characters become a part of the story in this series. If they do, it will be exciting to see which actors get cast in these roles. Looks Shonali Bose has a project of a lifetime on hand. And we can’t wait to see when this comes out on streaming.
