NEW DELHI, OCT 14 (ONLINE): Fans were reminded of Ranbir Kapoor’s real-life wedding to Alia Bhatt in 2022 when the Animal star recently turned heads by dressing up as a groom for celebrity designer Tarun Tahiliani’s Tasva Fall/Winter show, titled Baaraat. A video captures Ranbir making a grand baarat-style entrance in a vintage car, surrounded by models dressed as his groomsmen, dancing to the beat of dhol, perfectly capturing the essence of an Indian wedding.
Viral photos from the fashion show display Ranbir in an elegant silk ivory sherwani paired with a matching churidar and mojaris. He completed the authentic groom look with a turban and a dupatta, which was elegantly draped over his shoulder.
The actor was seen dancing and enjoying himself as he arrived in a vintage car with his model groomsmen. After the show, he interacted with the media and reflected on his own wedding with Alia Bhatt. Speaking to ANI, Ranbir shared, “My wife planned everything, I just had to follow her lead. Our wedding took place at our home only. So, it was not that hectic. And it was just perfect marriage. To be bride groom again in this collection just feels good.”
