Did Sheeba Akashdeep confess she was in a relationship with Akshay Kumar? Here’s what we know
Khiladi Kumar aka Akshay Kumar has been making the girls feel weak in the knees for decades now. Married to Twinkle Khana, Akshay Kumar is one tall, dark, handsome man who fits best in the description of a charming dreamy prince. And before he decided to take the plunge and tie the knot with Twinkle, he used to make headlines for his alleged relationships. Recently, in a new interview, his name has once again popped up, when an old co-star of his, Sheeba Akashdeep, opened up about their relationship.
She revealed when they met during ‘Mr Bond’ in 1992, they immediately became friends and shared fondness for each other. Sheeba revealed they had a few common interests, but eventually, they fell apart.
“When you are young and working in close proximity, ho jata hai ishq (you fall in love),” said Sheeba when asked about her dating rumours with Akshay Kumar.
“Both fitness-crazy people… And family friends. My nani and his mom would play cards together,” she added.

Further in the conversation, when asked what went wrong and why the two part ways, Sheeba very candidly confessed, “We were both kids. I don’t even talk about it. I find it so funny. What’s there to talk about it? I don’t even remember much stuff from that time. It’s been over three decades.”
Then diving into the subject of being friends with exes, Shiba said it is difficult when one is young and very emotional. “You are so emotional that you are unable to be normal after that for the longest time. Young love is very passionate and powerful and it’s like an explosion. So when that explosion happens, it has to come down… Friendship doesn’t survive,” she explained.
She continued that there is too much invested in a relationship to be friends later; and thus, this transition can’t happen unless one is mature.
