Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ gets a U/A certificate from the CBFC,

NEW DELHI, OCT 04 (ONLINE): Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ which sees her in a fierce avatar of a girl who’s ready to do anything to protect her brother Ankur (played by Vedang Raina), has gotten a great response for its trailer. The film almost makes one call Alia ‘lady Bachchan’ and fans are looking forward to seeing ‘Jigra’. It’s set to release on October 11, meanwhile, here’s all you need to know about the film’s duration, certification from CBFC and more.

This information is available on the CBFC website. The film has been giving a U/A rating which means kids above the age of 12 years can watch the movie. The legnth of the film is 155 minutes which means it’s 2 hours 35 minutes long. The songs of the movie along with the trailer has been able to strike a chord with the audience and the trade hopes that ‘Jigra’ is able to create some kind of magic which keeps the momentum going on cinema halls after ‘Devara’.
Earlier, ‘Jigra’ was supposed to release on September 27 but ‘Devara: Part 1’ had released that day and the release date was moved ahead. Karan Johar who is presenting ‘Devara’ has also co-produced ‘Jigra’ with Alia hence, it worked in the benefit of both these movies.
When Alia had announced ‘Jigra’, she had expressed how elated she was that she was co-producing a movie with Karan Johar, who had actually launched her as an actress.
