ISLAMABAD-The police drama will head back to screens next month with its long-awaited sixth series after facing several delays to filming during the Covid pandemic.It comes after a first look teaser for the new series aired during the Six Nations match between Wales and England, building excitement for fans who are desperate to learn the identity of the elusive villain H.This series of Line of Duty is set to be the show’s longest yet, comprised of seven episodes instead of the usual six. Vicky McClure, Adrian Dunbar and Martin Compston will reprise their roles as Detective Inspector Kate Fleming, Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott and Superintendent Ted Hastings respectively.The series will also see Shalom Brune-Franklin join the cast as a new addition to the AC-12 team, while Kelly MacDonald will star as Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson.Davidson is assigned as senior investigating officer on an unsolved murder case whose suspicious conduct attracts the attention of the anti-corruption team.
