ISLAMABAD – February 18 (ONLINE): Pakistan actress and host Nadia Jamil, who recently recovered from cancer, has penned down a heart-felt note for her late father Jalil Jamil on his birthday.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful man in the world my Abu (Father) Jalil Jamil. Miss you insanely.” Nadia wrote in her instagram post.
“Thank you for instilling the seed of romance, Sufism, humility and poetry in Omar Jamil and my heart and thank you for teaching us to laugh at ourselves and teaching us to be in awe of and learn constantly from great teachers like Nature, Animals, Music, Poetry and Love” Nadia wrote, and shared some beautiful clicks from her childhood.
“It’s because of you we step up and love as fiercely as we do, with undying, unwavering commitment and honesty” she further wrote.
Further she wrote “It’s because of you I stop and marvel at the birds’ songs, light changing in the sky, wind against my face, language in literature and poetry and the joy of lolling senselessly in front of the TV”
“Thank you for loving us so deeply and accepting me for who I am, without asking me to ever change or modify to fit in.
Thank you for reminding me to be humble and kind, before anything else.
Thank you for your ready smile, laugh and constant cuddles. Thank you for being the most adorable Nana! And for being YOU! Never met a soul whose met you and doesn’t adore you!
You were and will always and forever be my first love!
